Llandudno had an amazing show of support yesterday for the National Armed Forces Day (Saturday 30th June) with over 100,000 people descending on the pretty Victorian town. Prime Minister Theresa May and Princess Anne attended the military celebration too, alongside 1,000 serving service personnel and veterans who paraded through the town. The Red Arrows showed their support with planes which took part in a Battle of Britain memorial flight and there was a large military display on Bodafon Fields. A Food and Drinks Tent exhibiting local produce selling everything from Gins to Chocolate was supported by Conwy Council, where I had my cheese stall. I was glad of some support in giving out lots of cheese samples. This was the calm before the storm.
